I've heard of Uncle Nearest and read up on him a little. Seems he taught a few of the early, now household name distillers how to make whiskey. A fitting tribute that is long overdue.
Most Americans know Jack Daniel's #whiskey. But did you know that a slave taught Jack Daniel how to make whiskey? Now, a new distillery is paying tribute to that slave https://t.co/rEkc9yo2Hh pic.twitter.com/pSVyb7vPbY (via@CBSNews) @JackDaniels_US— News Junkie (@Newzjunkie_) July 13, 2019
I live in Texas. It's hot during the summer. We're happy when it's only high of 92 F for the day. A good fruity cocktail is just what we need to stay cool!

Bulleit was my first bourbon to really fall for, to help me decide that I'm a bourbon drinker. Their rye offering was the next. I have to say that the 12 year rye is like falling for it all over again!
Have you tried Bulleit’s #new 12 year Rye? It’s rare to find a Rye #whiskey with this age statement. So if you’re looking to round out your collection with a #unique bottling from a staple producer, look no further. pic.twitter.com/GofeQ0KO3X— Superior Liquor (@superiorliq) July 13, 2019
