Whiskey Roundup 02/10/19 to 02/16/19

In addition to this blog, I write a food blog, called Me, Myself, Cuisine. Every Saturday, I scroll through Twitter and find my favorite #foodblogger tweets and put together a Weekly Favorites post. Now, using #whiskey, I am putting together a Whiskey Roundup posts!

I'm a big fan of new experimental whiskey releases. Different grains and different finishes can make a really interesting finished product. I'll definitely be on the lookout for this release!
I'm not familiar with the Pearse Distillery. However, I am always excited to see recognition where recognition is due.

I always enjoy reading reviews as a way to explore new areas I've never seen. In this case, this review of Fercullen 10 Year is making me want to head out and find a bottle!

While the writer here is questioning whether Ardberg has perhaps over committed to experimentation, as I have mentioned above, I always look forward to experimental releases. This Scotch aged in rum barrels could be really great. The spice from the rum could be a great combination.

I like this post for the simplest reason. The messing is so simple, yet so important.

This post is so incredibly relatable. I have 3 kids under 5, so leaving the scene to only try to return a few years later, but still still trying to work around the little ones is all too familiar.
